The large deck is just made for relaxing and appreciating the scenery, but if curling up in the sun or in front of the fire with a book, or taking a stroll down to the lake through the 22 acre property is not stimulating enough consider some of the following:

• Go horse riding through the scenic foothills of Mt Buller (see our activities page);
• Use ‘The Lakehouse’ as a base for winter skiing, snow boarding or snow play;
• Enjoy a round or two of golf at the 18 hole Mansfield Golf Course (see our activities page);
• Browse the stalls at the huge craft markets held in Mansfield on the Saturday of all long weekends;
• Go water skiing on Lake Eildon over summer - bring your own equipment or hire a boat from Bonnie Doon;
• Take in a view of the high country from a hot air balloon;
• Bush walk up the PAPS or Mt Samaria for great views of Lake Eildon;
• Visit the Mansfield Zoo and pat a crocodile (see activities page);
• Feel the buzz of cars racing through the streets of Mansfield and up Mt Buller, during the ‘Mt Buller Sprint’ - Australia Day Weekend;
• Take a 4WD Tour;
• Taste the local food and wines at the ‘Harvest Festival’ held on the Labour Day long weekend;
• Enjoy the High Country Festival on Melbourne Cup Weekend;
• Pick a winner at the Mansfield Races on Cup Day;
• Climb to the top of Mt Sirling from ‘Telephone Box Junction’ and see the cattlemens huts;
• Hire a houseboat for a few days and explore the lake (see activities page);
• Try mountain bike riding at Mt Buller over the summer;
• Fish for Rainbow Trout in Lake Eildon;
• Tackle fly fishing on the Delatite River;
• Watch the sunset from Mt Buller.
