JUST A STONES THROW AWAY

The ski resort at Mt Buller embodies some of Victoria’s most spectacular alpine and sub alpine terrain. It offers 263ha of ski trails as well as wide open spaces above the tree line, with the longest trail being 2.5km.

Winner of the Australian Ski Award for ‘Best Year Round Resort’ two years running, Mt Buller offers a multitude of activities in both summer and winter. Driving to Mt Buller is easy - just 30 minutes from the house - the scenery on the way is well worth taking your time to see and enjoy.

If you are travelling during the winter season (June - October), remember to pick up chains along the way.

You can pay your resort entry (winter only) at the Mansfield Information Centre or Mirimbah Ski Hire (at the base of the mountain) where you will be advised of road conditions.

Follow the well maintained sealed road up the mountain and enjoy the many spectacular alpine views. In winter you will be met at the carparks by an attendant who will show you where to park. From here you can take a 4WD to the village or take a chairlift directly onto the slopes.

In summer you can drive all the way up into the village.
Alternatively, Mt Stirling next door has some spectacular cross country trails and a great tobogganing area.
